Breeding selection time is upon us once more and once again, we are proud and privileged to present you with the best quality line up of spotted stallions available in Australia and New Zealand, including several available for the first time.

With so many super quality Sportaloosa stallions around, we'd like to ask you to please change your outcrossing plans and this year, make yours a Sportaloosa. Please support our quality, coloured stallions by sending your best mare to them or, if they're too far away, breed to one by transported semen.

We've even made it incredibly easy for you to make the ideal choice for your mare by filming 24 stallions for the Sportaloosa Stallion DVD. It's better than being there as each stallion puts in a great performance for our camera, showing off his best angles and paces and it's extremely cheap to buy.

Sportaloosa International is a non-profit registry for the unique modern appaloosa spotted sport horse known as the Sportaloosa.

The Sportaloosa is a colourful athlete bred to be user friendly and competitive in the Olympic disciplines of jumping, dressage and eventing as well as cattle classes, reining, rodeo and endurance.

Well balanced, with light, forward and uphill movement showing great athletic ability, the Sportaloosa is also prized for his calm, friendly and very sensible nature.

This spotted sport horse is suited to a wide variety of events. His ability makes him appealing to the competitive rider, while his superb nature also makes him ideal for the weekend rider and the whole family.

Sportaloosa International is designed to promote interest in athletic, spotted sport horses with sensible, trainable dispositions. It rewards you for choosing a Sportaloosa to own, ride, breed and compete on in a friendly, supportive and encouraging environment. > more

The registry offers two studbooks for spotted Sportaloosas with documented parentage, one for non-patterned Sportaloosas and an open registry for Sportaloosas whose parentage is not documented. There are also studbooks for Sportaloosa Ponies > more

The Sportaloosa can get his spots from the Appaloosa or Knabstrupper or a combination of both. > more

Registered Sportaloosas qualify for annual awards and lifetime bronze, silver and gold medallions for competition points. The Let's Ride programme rewards hours in the saddle while the Secret Service is for kids only.
