Sportaloosa $1,000 video foal futurity entries - 2011
The second annual video futurity entries are in! This year, the competition is being judged by renown Hanovarian classifier Robin Potter of New Zealand. Chosen for her in depth knowledge of a horse's conformation and how it relates to function (whatever discipline that function belongs to), Robin will judge the entrants during May 2011.
The best made video (prize - a very classy Sportaloosa jacket) is by viewers' choice this year and voting is now open. Enjoy!

11 January 2011 - Sportaloosa survival in Forest Hill, Lockyer Valley, Queensland
On this day, flood waters rose so fast there was no time to evacuate people or livestock. This stunning video was taken at Sportaloosa International member Ben O'Sullivan's property, from the roof of a 2 story house. Ben and his partner were airlifted to safety, along with 300 other Forest Hill residents, while their 7 horses were washed away. The following morning they returned to their property to find all but 1 horse waiting at the gate!
